DIRECTIONS TO WISDOM’S GOLDENROD

From Ithaca or the Southeast

Take Route 96 north from Ithaca to Trumansburg (approximately 10 miles).
Turn left on Route 227 (just past downtown Trumansburg) and go ½ mile.
Turn right on Searsburg Rd. (opposite tall cylindrical water tower on the left) and go to the end (approximately 10.5 miles).
Turn left on Beckhorn Rd. and go a very short distance to the end.
Turn left on Route 414 and go south approximately 1 ½ miles.
WG is on the right (5801 Route 414), just past Johnson’s Bar and Restaurant (on left).
The Fire Station (light blue building) is on the left, just past WG.

From the Northeast

Take NY State Thruway (Route 90) west and exit at #41 in Waterloo.
Follow Route 414 South to Route 5&20.
Turn left on Route 5&20 to Seneca Falls, and follow signs to Route 414 South.
Proceed South on Route 414 through Fayette, Romulus, Ovid, Lodi and Valois.
Continue South approximately 1 ½ miles past Valois.
WG is on the right (5801 Route 414), just past Johnson’s Bar and Restaurant (on left).
The Fire Station (light blue building) is on the left, just past WG.


From the Northwest

Take NY State Thruway (Route 90) west and exit at #42 in Geneva.
Go South on Route 14 into Geneva and turn left at the fourth light (Lake St.).
Turn left onto Route 5&20 East and go 2 miles.
Turn right at Route 96A (sign “To Ithaca”) and go 18 miles to Ovid.
Turn right at blinker in Ovid onto Route 414 South and go 11 miles to Valois.
Continue South approximately 1 ½ miles past Valois.
WG is on the right (5801 Route 414), just past Johnson’s Bar and Restaurant (on left).
The Fire Station (light blue building) is on the left, just past WG.
 
From the Southwest

Take Route 17 East past Bath to the Savona exite (Route 226).
Proceed north on Route 226 about 10 miles to Tyrone.
Turn right on County Road 23 (up a long hill and down) to Watkins Glen.
Continue straight at the traffic light to Route 414 North.
Follow Route 414 as it curves left around the lake, and bear left at the Y intersection with Route 79.
Go 8 miles, past the Sunoco Station in Hector to the blue fire station one mile beyond on the right.
WG is just past the fire station on the left, before Johnson’s Bar and Restaurant.
